What are cookies??
A cookie is a small text file saved by the server of a website in the browser of your computer or of your mobile device when you visit this website. The cookie contains a unique code allowing you to recognize your browser during your visit to the website ("session cookie") or during future repeated visits ("permanent cookie"). Cookies can be placed by the server of the website you are visiting or by partners with whom this website collaborates. The server of a website can only read cookies that it has placed itself; it does not have access to any other information on your computer or on your mobile device. Cookies are stored on your computer or mobile device in the directory of your browser. The content of a cookie generally consists of the name of the server that placed the cookie, an expiration date and a unique encrypted code.
- Permanent cookies exist for your convenience, eg to remember the language chosen on a website. Permanent cookies are automatically erased after a specified period, usually one month.
- Session cookies exist for technical reasons, eg to secure an online order. Session cookies are erased automatically as soon as you log out or as soon as you close your internet browser.
In your browser settings, you have the option of refusing the installation of cookies. You can delete the cookies already installed on your computer or on your mobile terminal at any time.
